According to reports, Immortals of Aveum, an EA magic first-person shooter, will launch in July.

Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios' debut game, was revealed in December at The Game Awards. It will be published by EA Originals.

The highly trustworthy dataminer billbil-kun has stated that the game will be released on July 20, despite the reveal trailer's confirmation of a release date of 2023.

Immortals of Aveum is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It was developed using Unreal Engine 5.

“A groundbreaking new single-player, first-person magic shooter... set in an original fantasy universe engulfed in magic, rife with conflict, and on the verge of oblivion,” the game's teaser trailer stated.

Bret Robbins, Ascendant's CEO and game director, founded the independent studio in San Rafael, California. He was the creative director on Visceral Games' original Dead Space and Sledgehammer's Call of Duty games Modern Warfare 3, Advanced Warfare, and World War 2.

“assembled a close knit, unpretentious team of industry-leading talent with BAFTA and Game of the Year award-winning experience on beloved franchises such as Telltale's The Walking Dead, Marvel's Spider-Man, Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, Mafia, Tomb Raider, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid, The Elder Scrolls, Call of Duty, Dead Space, and Bioshock,” the studio's website states.

When Immortals of Aveum was announced, Robbins stated, "I founded Ascendant Studios to make original and epic games, and here we are, four years later, about to finish our first one." What began as a wild and exciting concept has evolved into a wild and exciting triple-A game."
